Job Title: Maintenance Technician II

This is a highly skilled hourly position where the Multi-Craft Technician performs preventative and corrective maintenance to increase uptime and reliability and help the facility meet production and quality goals. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of safe work practices, troubleshooting, and the maintenance of manufacturing equipment both mechanically and electrically.

• Follow the protocol for Lockout/Tag per procedure for required operations.
• Install, lubricate, diagnose, and fix machinery in accordance with plant regulations, guidelines, and practices.
• Maintain and repair corrugated plant machinery following manufacturer specifications, operating manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Examine and understand designs, diagnose, and fix mechanical and electrical systems, including solenoids and valves, in the hydraulic and pneumatic domains.
• Address all mechanical and electrical maintenance concerns across the entire plant.
• Respect all environmental and plant safety rules, regulations, and practices while actively participating in the safety program.
• Effectively communicate completed work and equipment statuses through written and verbal communication.

• Strong knowledge of CMMS Systems.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, VPS, and email communication.
• Effective organization and time management skills.
• Ability to learn and operate various computer software programs.
• Preferred 4 years of electro-mechanic experience working in a manufacturing plant.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems common in manufacturing, preferably with printing and converting equipment, including forklifts, clamp trucks, and packaging equipment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with test equipment (e.g., meters, micrometers) and PLC Hardware and Software.
• Ability to use machine shop and other tools such as power drills, reciprocating drill, band saw, reciprocating saw, hand grinder, and bench grinder.
• Capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively, as well as the flexibility to work any necessary overtime and weekends.

Successful candidates should possess formal training in electrical or mechanical technology and a minimum of 4 years of practical industrial machinery maintenance experience. Excellent critical thinking skills and a broad base of knowledge/experience across the electrical and mechanical vocations are essential.

• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

1st shift: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
2nd shift: 3:30 pm to 1:00 am

$27.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour plus a $0.20 per hour shift differential.
