Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical

Job Overview:
As a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and challenging setting. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your experience in [OR, Emergency medicine, catheterise, Tube feeding, phlebotomize] to deliver specialized care.
- Work effectively in a [Level I Trauma Center, ER] environment, demonstrating proficiency in handling critical situations.
- Provide compassionate care in [Home care, Home community care] settings, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
- Utilize electronic health record systems like [eClinicalWorks] to maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in patient education initiatives and health coaching programs.
Registered Nurses (RN)s: All nurses must have certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by an American Health Association vendor. Personnel must be able to demonstrate competency in providing CPR and have current basic life support (BLS) certification, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification, as applicable.
Licensure: The contract RNs must have a current license in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth in the US or the District of Columbia. Proof of current license must be provided five business days prior to their first shift, and at the licensure renewal rate. This also applies to all other required certifications.
Experience: All contract personnel will have a minimum of one-year direct patient care experience within the last three years in the field.
