The Egg Collective Account Manager is a highly-motivated and entrepreneurial-
minded individual whose priority will be to identify, connect with, and sell Egg
Collective products to new and current clientele. This role recognizes the importance
of proactive and thoughtful lead generation and outreach in ensuring the growth and
sustainability of the company. They will provide exemplary customer service in all
interactions, endeavoring to secure long-lasting client relationships.

Sales Functions:
• Formulate, foster and maintain strong lasting relationships with untapped and
current clientele.
• Develop a masterful understanding of EC’s brand including but not limited to
pricing, products, materials, process, customization and company history.
• Strive to achieve sales goals individually and as a team.
• Proactively drive sales from untapped markets; Implement innovative ways to
identify new clients. Report what’s working and what’s lacking. Formulate plans
for change in conjunction with the Sales and Showroom Manager.
• Represent Egg’s brand, products, and philosophy externally - visiting design
firms, attending industry events, and utilizing all available tools and resources to
build relationships and network.
• Maintain a keen understanding of the evolving luxury design market landscape to
identify new sales opportunities and potential holes in the market that EC could
fill.
• Identify sales tool needs (collateral, sampling, marketing, events, etc.) and work
with the Sales and Showroom Manager to procure whatever is needed.
• Use sales data to track, analyze and present KPI’s monthly/quarterly/annually.
• Identify and understand successes, trends, areas for improvement, and what
motivates clients to purchase EC products.
• Share knowledge and skills pertaining to the role with team members at all times
to continually improve skill sets
Account Management & Customer Care Functions:
• Prepare all client proposals and invoices with a keen eye for accuracy and
consistency.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with Production teams for custom
options and pricing.
• Maintain a high level of organization in managing communication lifecycles -
follow ups, check ins, invoicing etc. Utilize Hubspot for task management.
• Work with Production team to track order progress to quickly and effectively
keep clients informed.
• Use EC Sales Operations manual to follow sales protocol including procuring
shipping quotes, communicating sales in slack, collecting and updating resale
certificates, and working with Production Coordinator.
• Exhibit exemplary communication, organizational, and follow-up skills utilizing EC
tools - Hubspot, Google Sheets, Slack and finding other tools as needed.
• Effectively manage client expectations at all times and getting out in front of
potential issues. Strike a balance of acting as an advocate for both the client and
EC throughout the order life cycle.
• Continually work to update our methods and practices when it comes to account
management and report what is lacking to formulate plans for change in
conjunction with the Sales and Showroom Manager.
• Document, track and share with sales team the procurement of new clients to
establish clear lines of understanding and expectations.
• Utilize EC’s Customer Service Philosophy and open communication with the Sales
and Showroom Manager to help inform decision making and communication with
clients; Kill our difficult clients with kindness.
Physical Demands:
Physical requirements include lifting / carrying of up to 25 pounds; visual acuity,
speech, and hearing; hand and eye coordination; Subject to sitting, standing,
reaching, bending, stooping, squatting and walking to perform the essential
functions.
Work Environment:
This job operates out of the Egg Collective Showroom in Manhattan, NY. Standard
hours are Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm. The Account Manager role is a
primarily in-person position.
Pay and Benefits:
