Job DescriptionEssential responsibility and duties:
Respond to incoming calls, emails, and assist walk-in customers at the parts will-call counter
Process orders according to established Company policies
Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s concern
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments and company management to ensure high quality and timely execution of customer requests
Required Skills:
Pre-1980s internal engine components knowledge
Proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Great telephone and e-mail etiquette
Ability to adhere to shifts within hours of operation
Skilled at identifying customer needs and suggesting products and services that will meet those needs
Ability to use a caliper is helpful
Experience requirement:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of three years automotive parts sales; one year of aftermarket automotive parts sales
Physical requirement:
Standing 20% Sitting 80%
Requires full use of hands, finger dexterity, and visual acuity to use a keyboard
