Primary Responsibilities

EGIS Careers is recruiting on behalf of a sector-focused PE firm seeking a Senior Analyst to join its investment team. Based in Cleveland, the Senior Analyst will work closely with investment professionals and portfolio company management teams. Responsibilities include:

1. Support the investment underwriting and due diligence process (e.g., modeling, memos, data room management, industry research)
2. Run extensive analytical analysis on financial, customer, product, market information, etc. to clearly articulate trends within businesses
3. Support investor relations with preparation of quarterly and annual materials, including individual asset updates, fund level performance analysis, and annual presentations
4. Compile market research on new investments and provide a deliverable accurately summarizing the state of the industry
5. Provide portfolio management support for existing investments including budgeting expected performance, evaluating actual performance, and implementing portfolio management processes including continuous improvement

Qualifications

1. Proactive with an exceptional work ethic and a background reflecting a high level of achievement
2. 1 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, lending, consulting, or other relevant M&A experience
3. Bachelor’s degree or greater
4. Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and financial modeling techniques
5. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. Strong analytical skills
8. Ability to cultivate and maintain strong (in-person and virtual) relationships
9. Ability to work in dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, which includes ambiguity and changing priorities
10. Excited about working and living in Cleveland, Ohio
