Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, and other heavy equipment proficiently
- Conduct regular checks to ensure equipment functionality meets operational standards
- Perform routine inspections before operation to detect maintenance needs or repairs
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by supervisors
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery with precision and safety
- Ability to interpret excavation plans and follow instructions accurately
- Completion of safety awareness training
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment operations and safety protocols
- Capability to maintain, inspect, clean, and occasionally repair equipment
- Attention to detail and situational awareness to uphold a safe work environment
- Strong work ethic and physical stamina to handle tasks requiring lifting of 20 pounds
