Overview:

Join our team as a Clinical Educator and use your nursing expertise in a unique role outside of patient care. You’ll collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for patient well-being through medical device technology.

Role:

• Train and educate Registered Nurses and Physicians on patient monitors primarily used in critical care units.

• Focus on in-servicing and education, no sales responsibilities or bedside care.

• Per-Diem position requiring travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs.

• Weekly hours approx. 32-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide peer-to-peer education and in-service to support medical device implementations.

• Assess and meet customer-specific education needs.

• Use clinical nursing expertise to address medical device queries and concerns.

• Provide updates, reports, and feedback to clients during and after in-service assignments.

• Assist Field Service Technicians during equipment maintenance, installation, or replacement as needed

Requirements:

• BSN and RN license.

• Minimum 3 years of ICU/Critical Care Unit experience required.

• Preferred: 2 years’ experience with invasive hemodynamic monitors.

• Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) is beneficial but not required.

• Super-user/Preceptor education experience is desired, but not required.

• Ability to work in a group setting and exhibit strong professional acumen.

• Must be available for assignments two weeks per month.

• Compliance with client requirements for on-site services may require full vaccination.

Compensation:

Hourly pay ranges from $32.00-$37.00, varying based on qualifications and competencies. Some roles are eligible for annual bonus, sales incentives, and/or stock. Benefits may include healthcare, retirement, and paid time off.
