Title: Financial Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid in Framingham, MA (2x/week onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Description: Create Power BI dashboards for Store Operations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reports that support field & store teams.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with various business partners to source data from various data sets
- Identify new reporting opportunities & create reports based on business needs
- Design reports and databases
- Provide training for end users on reporting
- Document process flow of reporting
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of data; identify and translate connections and core issues to operational and financial controls
- Handle special projects and other duties as assigned
- Support ad-hoc reporting as needed
- Work closely with the business to improve data collection and quality
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required (Preferred in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.)
- 5-8 years of professional experience
- Intermediate to advanced Power BI and Microsoft Excel experience
- Advanced Analytical skills
- Understanding of the off-price model
- Good understanding of data warehousing and data lake architecture
- Experience working with large datasets to extract, manipulate, and analyze performance using business intelligence tools
