Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative Special Education Teacher to join our Syracuse, NY team. This unique opportunity entails working within a dynamic behavioral health facility, delivering academic support to children and adolescents in a small classroom setting during their treatment journey. Within this role, you'll be empowered to plan activities, provide individualized guidance and maintaining consistent communication regarding their advancement. Moreover, you'll be responsible for evaluating and refining teaching methods to maximize student achievement. Our class sizes typically range from 8 to 11 school-age patients at any given time.
Position requires a commitment of Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm year round.

Qualifications

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Active New York Special Education Teaching License
• Reliable Transportation
