LearnWell is a for profit company that has been in operation for over 26 years now. Our primary line of business is partnering with hospital facilities to provide the tutoring component while the students are there receiving treatment. We work in over 200 programs across 29 states and on average across our company about 2,000 students are being tutored every day..

Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Cambridge, MA on a full-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from adolescent school-age patients at any one time.

Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM. We offer a very generous package of paid time off including vacation time, sick time, federal holidays, and paid school breaks. Qualifications

Qualifications:

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Massachusetts teaching license
• Comfortable working with K-12 students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
• Reliable Transportation
