We are seeking a Network Operations Engineer with a minimum of six years' experience in configuring and administering network technologies, particularly Cisco systems. This role involves managing site to site IPSEC connections to minimize network downtime for critical applications, optimizing network performance, and troubleshooting various network components. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in continuous monitoring of network infrastructure and exceptional customer service skills. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in an IT related field and certifications such as CCIE, CCNA, CCNP, or CNE.
Experience Required:
A minimum of six (6) years of experience configuring and administering network technologies, particularly Cisco Systems, with a focus on managing site to site IPSEC connections to ensure minimal network downtime for critical applications.
Handson experience in configuring, optimizing, and troubleshooting various network components, including Internet backbones, network fabric, data center interconnections, and remote access solutions. This includes working with multiple platforms, both on premises and in the cloud, encompassing routing and switching, load balancing, VPN appliances, wireless controller systems, access points, and telecom equipment.
Proficiency in continuous monitoring of network infrastructure using and configuring network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and security.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment, adapting to various project requirements and collaborating with colleagues to achieve objectives.
Capability to thrive in a fast paced environment while upholding exceptional customer service skills, ensuring timely resolution of network related issues and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
Proficiency in communicating complex policies and protocols in simple terms, facilitating understanding and compliance among stakeholders.

Develop technical documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), to standardize network operations and ensure consistency.
Standardize overall network daily operations to enhance IT service delivery to CBO staff and improve user experience.
Respond to urgent requests promptly, including restoring service and addressing high priority needs to minimize disruptions.
Configure and administer network technologies such as Cisco systems, focusing on managing site to site IPSEC connections to minimize network downtime for critical applications.
Perform hands on configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting for various network components, including Internet backbones, network fabric, data center interconnections, and remote access solutions.
