EIGENNET LLC is Hiring a Project Assistant Near Washington, DC

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Project Assistant who will playing a crucial role in managing and organizing records. Reporting to the AO Records Liaison Officer, the Project Assistant will handle various document and records management tasks, including data entry, document digitization, and adherence to EPA standards and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:Document Organization and Preparation:
  • Organize and prepare paper records for digitization in compliance with EPA standards.
  • Ensure that records are correctly sorted and packaged for transfer to the National Digitization Center.
Data Entry and Management:
  • Enter and update information into the Paper Asset Tracking Tool (PATT) application.
  • Review and edit PATT entries as required, incorporating feedback from the National Records Management Program and the National Digitization Center.
Digitization Support:
  • Support efforts to digitize records, including the accurate scanning and indexing of documents.
Coordination and Communication:
  • Coordinate with various EPA departments and personnel to ensure efficient document and records management.
  • Communicate effectively to support document handling and resolve any issues that arise.
Compliance and Quality Control:
  • Follow precise guidelines and procedures for document handling and ensure adherence to EPA standards.
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of records throughout the management process.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience:
  • Previous experience in document and records management, including organizing, digitizing, and tracking records.
  • Familiarity with EPA standards and guidelines for record management is a plus.
Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with database management.
  • Ability to follow precise guidelines and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with various EPA departments and personnel.
Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree.
Certifications: Certification in Records Management or Document Control is preferred but not required.
