This position will be responsible for invoicing, managing, and recovering outstanding account balances from customers. This position requires a combination of customer service and financial acumen as they support the customer’s success with our company.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate invoicing and customized billing for our clients – Review and manage accounts to identify outstanding debts.
• Initiate contact with clients to remind them of overdue invoices and facilitate payment.
• Research unpaid invoices, determine root cause, and perform appropriate follow action with professionalism.
• Completing new client questionnaires after initial placements and assisting with auditing bill rates, VMS fees, volume discounts, etc. according to the PSA.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all collection and billing activities to avoid discrepancies.
• Prepare regular reports on collection activity and account status.
• Running audits to cross reference approved hours that have paid out to consultants with Purchase orders or SOW’s.
• Prioritize workflow to reduce or eliminate bad debt flow resulting in the reduction of days in AR.
• Continuously improve knowledge of the latest collection techniques and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, client success managers to improve overall customer satisfaction and reduce delinquencies.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in collections or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of billing procedures and best practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with relevant computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Sage Intacct preferred).
• High level of professionalism and patience when dealing with challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
