Summary/Objective

The Label Department Support Specialist is responsible for internal printing, Inventory stock collaboration and receiving in purchase orders for packaging. This position has a heavy emphasis on using excel and label printing programs. This also includes daily office duties such as answering emails, proofreading, paperwork and filing. This position also provides support for the Label Techs and Sample Specialist including filling work orders, inventory taking and sample development.

• Printing of internal labels and specialty case labels
• Inventory stock collaboration with Label Techs and Office
• Daily paperwork, computer work and proofreading
• Ordering of office supplies
• Receiving in packaging
• Assisting Sample Specialist with sample development
• Assisting label techs in fulfilling orders, stocking and inventory taking as needed

• Must be able to proofread documents accurately
• Ability to work on different projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and together with multiple departments

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily in an office setting though it will require being in the production and warehouse areas as well. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to allergens and moving forklifts and pallet jacks. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Friday and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand in order to meet production needs.

Travel

Occasional travel to external warehouses within Green Bay.

Education, Skills, and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years Computer experience with an emphasis in Microsoft Programs
• Proficient understanding of grammar – proofreading skills
• Self-motivated and works well with others in a fast-paced environment
