Overview

Einstein Tutoring is seeking dedicated High School Tutors to join our team. We have several positions available for tutors who are passionate about education and committed to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for high school students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Provide instruction in core subjects, with a focus on high school-level Math, Science, English, and SAT/ACT preparation.
  • Mentor and support students in their academic growth, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their educational goals.
  • Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions, adapting teaching methods to suit each student’s learning style.
  • Collaborate with parents, students, and Einstein Tutoring staff to track progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing curriculum development and assessment activities to ensure high-quality tutoring services.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; advanced degrees or certifications in subject-specific areas are a plus.
  • Proven experience working with high school students in a tutoring or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development and effective teaching strategies for high school students.
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, whether in-person or virtual.
  • Proficiency in lesson planning, delivering effective instruction, and adapting to different learning needs.
  • Familiarity with high school curriculum standards and test preparation practices.
