Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SAT Tutor with a strong background in special education, particularly in working with students who have hearing disabilities. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the SAT exam format and have a proven track record of helping students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring for the SAT exam.

• Develop and implement personalized tutoring plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning style.

• Utilize effective teaching strategies and tools to support students with hearing disabilities.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.

• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with special education students, specifically those with hearing disabilities.

• Extensive knowledge of the SAT exam, including test-taking strategies and content areas.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.

• Experience with remote tutoring platforms is a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Full-time

Pay: $23.45 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
