Job Details DescriptionHome Health Aid Essential Duties:
Transporting residents to appointments,
Assisting with ADL’s
Redirecting negative behaviors,
Maintaining a safe environment for the residents and maintaining a clean environment for the residents.
Assisting individuals with disabilities in acquiring, retaining, and improving skills that enable them to improve quality of life.
Promoting independence when applicable, inclusion and community engagement.
Providing direct support and assistance in developing and enhancing skills for daily living, social interaction, and vocational pursuits.
Home Health Aid Minimum Qualifications And Education Requirements
18 years of age
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by regulatory agencies.
Passes the medication administration class and test.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Reliable transportation to get to and from work
Home Health Aid Preferred Qualifications And Education Requirements
Experience with providing direct care to individuals with disabilities
Ability to accept feedback
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and demonstrate patience and empathy.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Notes
Staff in Full Time/Part Time Slots are expected to work the set schedule consistently and are permitted to pick up additional shifts with approval.
