DescriptionHome Health Aid Essential Duties:
The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the contractor’s legal duty to furnish information. 41 CFR 60-1.35(c)
DescriptionHome Health Aid Essential Duties:
- Transporting residents to appointments,
- Assisting with ADL’s
- Redirecting negative behaviors,
- Maintaining a safe environment for the residents and maintaining a clean environment for the residents.
- Assisting individuals with disabilities in acquiring, retaining, and improving skills that enable them to improve quality of life.
- Promoting independence when applicable, inclusion and community engagement.
- Providing direct support and assistance in developing and enhancing skills for daily living, social interaction, and vocational pursuits.
- 18 years of age
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by regulatory agencies.
- Passes the medication administration class and test.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Experience with providing direct care to individuals with disabilities
- Ability to accept feedback
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and demonstrate patience and empathy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Staff in Full Time/Part Time Slots are expected to work the set schedule consistently and are permitted to pick up additional shifts with approval.
