Your responsibilities
- Together with the Head of FP&A, develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Support preparation and analyse of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for EIT health e.V. and its regional hubs. Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- Support the quarterly and yearly financial consolidation of all EIT Health entities.
- Act as Finance BP for budget owners in relation to budgeting and reporting.
- Monitor and analyse costs and expenses to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. Support implementation of cost control measures where necessary.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and monitor liquidity to ensure adequate funds are available for operations and investments.
- Identify and assess financial risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies and support their implementation.
- Recommend and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Contribute to statutory audits and ad hoc project audits by taking over coordination with external auditors and providing necessary documentation and support.
- Be the interface with EIT Health Asset Management Team and support joint activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial management role such as FP&A Manager, Financial Controller, Finance BP.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting. Understanding of German GAAP and IFRS standards is an advantage. Familiarity with financial systems such as DATEV, LUCCANET, ERP system such as NetSuite as well as with PowerBI.
- Ability to analyse complex and large financial dataset and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, advanced working knowledge of German and/or French considered a plus.
- Ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- High integrity in handling confidential financial information and dealing with stakeholders.
