Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency care and possess a passion for providing high-quality patient-centered services.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in emergency situations
- Assess patients' conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient medical records

Requirements:

- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Previous experience in emergency room or critical care settings preferred
- Knowledge of gastric lavage, sterile processing, ventilator management, and infectious disease care
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding, Epic EMR system, and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments and prioritize patient care
- Experience in hospice palliative medicine, occupational health, and caring for pediatric patients is a plus

Pay: $50.00 - $56.00 per hour
