Ekert Cabinetry is Hiring an Outside Sales Kitchen Cabinet Consultant Near Louisville, KY

Dear Prospective Candidate,

Are you a motivated sales professional seeking a rewarding career in the home improvement industry? Look no further! We are currently seeking experienced Sales Representatives specializing in renovations, cabinet sales, and decoration to join our highly successful sales force.

As a Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to work with pre-scheduled appointments in residential homes, where you will conduct sales presentations focused on window and door replacement projects. Our Design Consultants provide homeowners with all the necessary information to make informed decisions, often resulting in same-day sales.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Attend pre-qualified appointments , eliminating the need for cold calling or door knocking.

- Conduct product demonstrations and provide custom quotes during in-home consultations.

- Embrace a value-based selling process, prioritizing honesty and integrity.

- Participate in trainings and regular sales meetings.

- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Hold a valid driver’s license (required).

- Comfortable traveling up to 2 hours for appointments on a daily basis (required).

- Ability to lift and carry at least 20-30 lbs. of sample materials (required).

- Proficient in navigating various applications on an iPad (required) or own laptop computer.

- Previous outside sales experience is a plus.

- Willingness to learn and implement a structured and proven sales process.

- Strong desire and ability to close sales effectively.

- Proven sales experience in the cabinet industry, particularly with builders, flippers, and renovators.

- Active and established network and client base in the relevant sectors.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to conduct impactful product training.

- Goal-oriented mindset, with a proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.

- Flexibility to travel as needed for client interactions and industry events.

- Strong organizational skills and personal transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay
