Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of healthcare market trends, competitive landscape, patient demographics, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.
- Manage data preparation for analytic efforts by integrating and consolidating data, ensuring data quality and accuracy, and creating complex or high profile data sets.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools such as R, Python, and SQL to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources to derive actionable insights.
- Use mapping software to create spatial analyses and geographical visualizations to support facility planning, resource allocation, and market expansion strategies.
- Create and present data-driven reports, dashboards, and visualizations to senior leadership, highlighting key findings, trends, and strategic opportunities.
- Develop and maintain complex predictive models, utilizing statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms, to forecast patient demand, resource utilization, and financial performance.
- Serves as the subject matter expert and technical leader on all vendor-acquired planning data (e.g., market claims data).
- Monitor and track the progress of strategic initiatives, adjusting analytical models and recommendations as needed based on evolving market dynamics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Nine years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus five years of related experience/training.
- Experience in healthcare, enterprise data management, data warehousing, financial modeling, business intelligence or financial analytics reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Access.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
