Job Summary
EDCOE Special Services is seeking a dynamic Special Education Preschool Teacher to join our classroom team serving children with extensive support needs at our Camerado Preschool in Cameron Park, California. We are dedicated to the provision of high quality Special Education preschool programs, providing meaningful and responsive services and strengthening our partnerships with our local school districts. Come and join our collaborative team! The Camerado Preschool is located in Cameron Park, California and is only 30 miles from the Sacramento county line.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDCOE shall offer two separate, one-time, $5,000 installments at the conclusion of the eligible employee's first and second year(s) of employment with EDCOE, not to exceed $10,000 per
eligible employee ("signing bonus").


-An employee is an eligible employee for purposes of the signing bonus if the employee is not a
currently an EDCOE employee who is hired into a teacher to a position in Special Services
requiring a moderate to severe or mild to moderate special education credential. Employees who
are non-reelected in either their first or second year are not eligible.
-In the alternative, EDCOE will offer to reimburse tuition costs for an eligible employee assigned
to Special Services to obtain his/her moderate to severe or mild to moderate special education
credential in a position requiring this credential in an amount not to exceed a total of $10,000
("tuition reimbursement"). Tuition reimbursement will occur at the conclusion of the eligible
employee's first and second year of successful employment.

-An employee is an eligible employee for purposes of tuition reimbursement if the employee is a
current certificated employee for EDCOE who successfully transfers or is assigned to a Special
Services position who enrolls in an approved course to obtain a moderate to severe or mild to
moderate special education credential. Employees who are non-reelected in either their first or
second year are not eligible.

Experience:
- One year of experience with this age range including but not limited to working or
volunteering in Early Intervention program, Early Head Start, Daycare setting, etc.
- Experience with coaching families and/or home visiting
- Must possess a valid California driver's license issues by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
Education:
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid teaching credential, or eligibility for appropriate credential/permit
- Must possess a valid California Early Childhood Special Education Credential or
Certificate or equivalent authorizing the holder to provide specialized services to
students from birth through age three. To be considered, the following documents must be uploaded to a complete application:
  • Copy of Transcript
  • Credential Copy
  • Driver's License Copy
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two letters within the last two years)
  • Resume
  • Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE Credential Authorization)
