El Rio Grande Latin Market is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual for the position of Assistant Store Manager in Training. This role is designed for individuals who aspire to grow within our company and are eager to develop their leadership skills in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment. The Assistant Store Manager in Training will work closely with the Store Director and other key team members to learn all aspects of store operations, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision. During the training period, the Assistant Store Manager in Training may work with several stores to gain a comprehensive understanding of different store environments and operations.
Training and Development:
Participate in a comprehensive training program to learn the responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager.
Gain experience by working with several stores during the training period.
Customer Service:
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly.
Maintain a welcoming and clean store environment for customers.
Store Operations:
Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Support inventory management tasks, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and merchandising products.
Staff Supervision:
Assist in supervising, training, and motivating store employees to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Sales and Marketing:
Collaborate with the Store Director to implement sales promotions, special events, and marketing strategies.
Monitor sales performance and assist in developing strategies to achieve sales targets.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that the store complies with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Address any safety concerns promptly and effectively.
