Responsibilities:
- Resolve Tenants' inquiries related application of payments.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data via cash receipts, ACH, or lockbox while resolving discrepancies.
- Oversee miscellaneous bill backs.
- Ability to match tenants payments to corresponding rent statements.
- Work with management departments on lease abstract, tenant relations, renewals, tenant percentage rent calculation, tenant recoverable billing and possible co-tenancies to identify and monitor any problems with tenant accounts.
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
- Ability to reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for, and property posted.
- Application of non-tenant receipts to the correct code description with the general ledger.
- Research and reconciliation of tenant’s accounts with open balances and repayments.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivables or bookkeeping, required.
- An excellent understanding of computer programs such as Microsoft excel, Clickpay, and MRI; Real estate software preferred.
- Experience in commercial real estate accounting preferred.
- Must be organized and have a strong attention to details.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
