Elective staffing is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Memphis, TN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator will support the HR department in various functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and English to effectively communicate with our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth integration for new employees.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all HR documents are accurately filed and up to date.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll information.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and assist in organizing company events and activities.
  • Manage the leave of absence process, including tracking and documentation.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including scheduling evaluations and tracking performance reviews.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Must be bilingual (Spanish and English) with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with HR software and systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is a plus.
