Electric Hydrogen is Hiring an Electrical Technician/Electrician Near Devens, MA
Electric Hydrogen’s mission is to make molecules to decarbonize our world! We are looking for an Electrical Technician/Electrician to join our Test Engineering team. You will perform electrical builds of electrolysis test equipment, facility integration of test equipment, and maintenance of the equipment and associated tools. You will be responsible for both high and low voltage electrical panel wiring, component procurement, and documentation on several types of internally designed test equipment. You will work with the testing team, plant engineering team, and mechanical technician team as we expand our testing and product infrastructure at a rapid pace. You will work onsite at our Devens factory and report to the Senior Mechanical Engineer. This position is for either A shift or B shift. Shift flexibly is required. Qualifications
Proficiency working on high voltage (480VAC) systems
LOTO compliance
Low voltage instrumentation wiring experience
Proficiency reading and redlining P&IDs
Proficiency reading and creating wiring diagrams
Familiarity with mechanical/electrical systems for troubleshooting and commissioning work
Familiarity with PLCs and associated controls troubleshooting is especially desirable
3 years of experience with multiple types and sized pumps is relevant
VFD experience
Spec out electrical components for high and low voltage electrical panels given initial design requirements
Experience with DC power supplies is helpful
Instrument familiarity:
Pressure transducers
MFCs, flow meters
RTDs, TCs
Electronic pressure regulators
Lab equipment is a plus:
Oscilloscopes
Power Analyzers
Electronic load banks
Hall effect sensors
Safety oriented individual with experience working on high-pressure systems and high voltage systems
Familiarization with common safety standards with an emphasis on industrial settings:
OSHA 30 is a plus
NFPA 70E is a plus
Licensed Electrician in MA or path to certification a plus
Compensation and Benefits | S3 Natick Zone $36—$41.40 USD Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
