SummaryOverview:The EH&S and Food Safety Administrator is responsible for ensuring that all relevant environmental, personal & food safety programs, documents and records are researched, maintained, controlled and implemented. Essential functions and duties:· Update and maintain environmental data, including the recordkeeping tool; chemical purchase, storage & usage inventory; and other pertinent data.· Update and maintain sustainability data.· Create, maintain, and update a communication system used for incident summaries and everyday Environmental, Personal & Food Safety communications.· Create structure & maintain document control & recordkeeping related to Environmental, Health, Safety, Sustainability & Food Safety. · Organize EH&S activities that are multi-site and cross-functional (examples: annual purchase orders, fire system billing, hearing tests, blood drive, first aid & CPR training, fire extinguisher training, etc.).· Assist with necessary food safety activities and projects to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory and 3rd party requirements. · Assist facility specific EH&S personnel and their EH&S programs and systems, as needed.· Periodically provide training consistent with EH&S projects and activities.· Maintain the incident log.Minimum Requirements:Education: 4 year degree or equivalent experience in Occupational, Safety & Health; Environmental or Food Science is desired. Experience: Environmental, Health & Safety program development & implementation.
