Electrical Automation Services is Hiring a Metals Melt Shop Manager Near Perth Amboy, NJ

What You'll Do:

Responsible for all aspects of managing the operation of an electric arc furnace (EAF) melt shop and casting operations for the production of the intermediate grade steel billets, including attaining predetermined production goals for capacity and quality of product
Establish standard melting practices
Enforce safety rules for employees and equipment in accordance with guidelines and 5S standards
Recommend capital expenditures
Manage the maintenance department by establishing Preventative Maintenance schedules and planned outages
Cooperate with other to maintain coordinated efficiency of operations
Responsible for employee management and grievances, including: recruiting, training, evaluating, and motivating employees to achieve department objectives
Administer personnel policies and carry out company policies and programs
Assess turnover, attendance control, and administration of discipline

What You'll Need:

Eight (8) years of experience operating an electric arc furnace (EAF) and continuous casting facility
Experience must include familiarity with ASTM standards, industrial relations, inventory, and cost control methods
