POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join Electron Microscopy Sciences | Azer Scientific onsite in Hatfield, PA. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Filling, labeling, and shrinking of custom chemical orders stock chemical items (Paraformaldehyde, Glutaraldehyde, buffers, stains, and fixatives).
- Maintaining proper paperwork by following company lot # and expiration procedures.
- Maintaining equipment throughout the day (cleaning of all used beakers filling apparatus).
- Assisting in the operation of lab equipment (ampoule filler / sealer, ampoule printer, and shrinking machines).
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Follows all safety guidelines with the use of company supplied PPE.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- No experience required. We will provide training.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work efficiently and assist in meeting department deadlines.
- Capable of multitasking and a team player.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED certificate.
