Electronic Design & Manufacturing is Hiring a Test Technician Near Lynchburg, VA

TEST TECHNICIAN

Since 1990, Electronic Design and Manufacturing Company (EDM) has been a leading EMS (electronic manufacturing services) provider in our market. We are a 100% employee-owned company and are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated individual to join our team of owners.

The TEST TECHNICIAN is responsible for testing circuit boards and assemblies to ensure the highest level of quality as requested by the customers, indicated by IPC-610, and as directed by management.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Conduct or perform set-up, testing, (and troubleshooting) of circuits, components, and assemblies
- Read drawings and use measurement instruments as needed
- Review product, components, and systems to ensure production quality standards are met

- Input technical details on failures into reporting system

QUALIFICATIONS:

-PCBA/Testing experience
-Must be able to work closely with Test Engineers
-Expert attention to detail
-Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
-Ability to operate mechanical hand tools
-Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Associates degree (AAS) preferred
