Field Services Operations Leader Job Description

Electronic Locksmith, Inc. is a dynamic and fast-growing company in the access control space. We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded leader to help build a Field Services division. This person must be adept in problem solving, process creation, and developing SOPs. The company is looking to add services, create new markets and is seeking an energetic individual with effective leadership skills, who is an efficient manager, and has technical expertise skills. The right person will be willing to roll up their sleeves when required, as well as be comfortable operating in a corporate setting. This role will involve participation in strategic planning and implementation, budget creation, and management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leadership/Management
• Maintain a positive culture and company reputation while improving individual performance of the employees you lead through coaching, scorecard reviews, and quarterly conversations.
• Hiring, training, and developing of new employees.
• Run, review, and manage department reports to ensure department is meeting customer expectations and commitments.
• Administrative
• Assist with budget management, strategic planning, and implementation.
• Efficiently managing labor costs for the department, along with timely completion of all administrative paperwork.
• Ensuring billing documents are processed accurately per the customer’s project billing requirements.
• Technical/Industry Expertise
• Provide technical assistance to customers, technicians and partners with trouble shooting and resolving hardware or software related issues.
• Sales
• Meet with customers and review job requirements to make recommendations, create specs, and fulfill bid requirements.
• Collaborate with in-house team, partners, and vendors to create quotes and all aspects relating to winning a project.
• Project Management
• Collaborate and coordinate all aspects of field services projects including pre-install, during the install, and close out of the project.
• Managing and coordinating technicians, subs, partners, and all related parties in scheduling related to projects, services and communicating to the customer.
• Coordinate with warehouse and other team members to ensure material process for projects and returns from job site to minimize inventory investment
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Low voltage experience, basic computer networking, door hardware, and access control experience required.
• Experience with project management/field services software programs.
• Understanding of software systems- digitally organized and computer technology savvy. Field Service Software experience and proficiency needed.
• Must have excellent communication skills and focus on customer service. Represent the company in a professional manner.
• Must have good time management skills, be organized, and can multi-task.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of management or leadership experience.
• Degree in related field or experience required.
• Valid drivers license with a good driving record.
• Some travel is required.

Compensation:

· Commensurate with Experience

· Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
