Essential Functions
- Develops a positive customer service culture in the dining room through team member training. Evaluates the quality of
experience.
- Ensures team members provide service that maintains excellent resident experiences during mealtimes.
- Circulates in the dining room to ascertain resident preferences and satisfaction with meals. Develops service systems that
- Ensures menu items are prepared and presented in accordance with the high standards set forth by the Culinary Director.
- Trains and coaches all team members in the Culinary Services Department in accordance with company protocol.

- Maintains oversight of tabletop set up and arrangement at the beginning and end of each meal period.
- Ensures themself and any team members working with them conducts themselves in a safe manner and that unsafe actions
- Fosters teamwork with co-workers, shows initiative in overcoming obstacles, takes actions which assist others beyond job
- Develops and maintains a positive relationship with other leaders throughout the community to foster cross-departmental
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must have proven management experience and ability to manage staff. Minimum of one
year experience in food service preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, And Other Special RequirementsCurrent Serv/Safe Certification required. Obtain/hold any local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or
certificates. Must meet all health requirements, including TB. Must pass criminal background check. Must have compassion for and
desire to work with the elderly.
Essential SkillsDemonstrates leadership through planning, directing, controlling, communicating, and coaching. Strong written and verbal
communication skills, strong personnel skills, and positive community relations skills. Self-motivated, and has the ability to work
independently and make decisions. Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented. Pleasant, professional, and personable.
