Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute data migration from external repositories (network shares, OneDrive, Teams) to SharePoint.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency during the migration process.
• Organize and categorize documents for efficient access and storage in SharePoint.
• Plan and execute the migration of documents and data from external repositories (e.g., network shares, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams) into the SharePoint portal
• Assess the structure and quality of existing data to ensure a smooth migration process
• Develop and implement strategies for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Create and manage data migration schedules to minimize disruptions to ongoing operations
• Test data migration processes to verify that data is accurately transferred and correctly integrated into the SharePoint portal
• Resolve any data migration issues or discrepancies, ensuring that all documents and metadata are properly mapped
• Document the data migration process, including mapping schemas, transformation rules, and any issues encountered
• Collaborate with IT and project teams to align data migration efforts with overall project goals and timelines
• Provide support and troubleshooting during and after the data migration process to address any issues or user concerns
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies throughout the migration process

Technology Stacks Expertise:

• SharePoint Online (Microsoft Office 365)
• Migration tools (Sharegate, Metalogix, etc.)
• Microsoft Teams, OneDrive

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data migration projects, preferably with SharePoint.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in data migration tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint document libraries and metadata.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in handling large-scale data migrations while ensuring data security and compliance.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80,191.00 - $88,593.00 per year
