Join us as a Facility Maintenance Technician and see how your variety of routine and non-routine maintenance make a difference and how critical it is to helping us deliver on our purpose and achieve our goals. The primary role of the Maintenance Technician is to provide maintenance support to production. Troubleshoot saws, CNC mills, CNC grinders, and lab equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as well as recommendations for improvement.

Salary: $25-$30/hr

Responsibilities

• Properly trouble-shoot and maintain equipment
• Properly develop and implement preventive maintenance systems for all equipment
• Ensures the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution.
• Arc Flash/Shock Hazard safety, confined space entry, LOTO, hazardous materials, hand tool safe use, etc.
• Maintain accurate records and logs as required

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will need :

• Previous experience needed; Handyman, Pneumatics, Wiring, Electrical, Power Tools, Facilities, Motors, Circuit, Voltage, CNC, Lathes, Mills, Saws, Pumps, etc
• Understanding of VFD’s, Motors, Electrical Schematics, Troubleshooting with a multimeter
• Self motivated with the ability to multi task, organize and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
