Element Materials Technology is Hiring a Metals Chemist Near Broken Arrow, OK
Responsibilities
- The role is expected to successfully ensure the below:
- Carry out efficiently the testing and analysis of metals using chemical methods
- Report abnormal findings to laboratory management and perform preventive measures to prevent downtime of power and desalination systems
- Maintain accurate and legible records of technical work and maintain equipment according to schedule
- Assist with testing/ analysis of non-routine samples as directed
- Maintain and control power and desalination plant water chemistry as well as drinking water
- Organise personal work schedules and maintain awareness of health and safety inside the plant.
- Chemistry Graduate
- Laboratory experience
- Awareness of health and safety procedures and safe systems of work required to perform duties
- Minimum 3 year experience as a Shift Chemist
- Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions
- Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational skills
- Exceptional communication skills and good reporting skills
