Shift Overview
Supports daily warehouse operations by managing inventory, overseeing shipping and receiving, and handling various warehouse tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Material Handling: Issue materials from the warehouse as needed
· Part Sourcing: Identify and source parts from various suppliers for ordering
· Inventory Management: Maintain an adequate supply of parts and perform inventory cycle counts.
· Shipping & Receiving: Oversee shipping and receiving processes, including maintaining the Shipper’s log
· Stocking: Stock shelves and ensure proper organization of warehouse items
· Data Entry: Accurately enter data related to inventory and shipping/receiving tasks
· Freight Handling: Load and off-load freight, ensuring proper handling of goods
· General Duties: Perform other general warehouse duties as required
Requirements
· Experience: Forklift experience is required.
· Licenses: Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record.
· Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Inventory Knowledge: Solid understanding of inventory management
· Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team
· Experience: Prior warehouse experience is an asset. Understanding of industry-specific position requirements is beneficial
· Screening: Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings
Physical Requirements
· Activity: Prolonged standing and walking, frequent lifting of over 50 pounds, and physical tasks like bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling
· Dexterity: Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment
Work Environment
· Rotation Schedule: Shift 5/2. Must be available to work weekends.
· Conditions: Work may occur in non-climate-controlled environments with exposure to moderate to high noise levels and contaminants such as oils and solvents.
