Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and commercial maintenance. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and facilities through regular maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment and commercial facilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of all equipment and facilities
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations at all times
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
- Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance and commercial maintenance
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
