Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Level 3 is responsible for advanced maintenance tasks, troubleshooting complex issues, and performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex equipment malfunctions, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain machinery and control systems.
  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and other control systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with predictive maintenance techniques and technologies.
  • Certification in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
