Elephant's Trunk is looking for a Retail Team Member to be part of our wonderful team at our Valley River Center Mall Location, here in Eugene Oregon. We are a small family-owned business that has been in business for over 40 years. We have a close-knit team that works hard to provide our customers with exceptional service while also encouraging them to buy more and buy more often. We are looking for a personable, hardworking individual who enjoys meeting people and providing a high level of customer service.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work some weekends
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Must be able to work some holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior management experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and providing excellent customer service are key qualities we seek in our managers.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends when necessary.

Duties include:

• Greeting customers as they enter the store and answering any questions they may have.
• Keeping the store clean and tidy at all times. (We use a pressure washer during the sales week)
• Communicating with customers about product availability, new designs, promotions, and other items as appropriate. (We try to keep our product inventory up to date)
• Keeping inventory levels up to date and managing inventory on our website. (We do all of our inventory online)
• Keeping the store stocked with everything customers might need. (This includes being able to quickly get to the register when customers need help with their purchase)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
