About the job

Our Lake Oswego - Elephants Delicatessen location is also one of our largest, it features our popular grab-and-go selections plus a grill, freshly prepared foods, gelato, wine, beer, espresso service, and specialty grocery items. 

To be successful in the Deli Sales position you must love food and people—and love recommending food to people. From sharing recommendations to serving up our deli selection, to answering customer questions on the floor—this job is ideal for someone whose dream job would be creating the ultimate Portland picnic basket.

Your job will include tasks like stocking shelves, merchandising, cleaning, etc. We can train the right person how to complete these tasks and more. What we can’t teach—and what we care the most about—is that you can make a connection with our customers and ensure that their trip to our store is memorable. We can’t infuse you with a passion for what we do: You get to bring your own! A food handlers card and OLCC is required for this position.
