The Underwriting Specialist is responsible for the preparation of underwriting manuals, financial statements, agreements and analysis of data.
How You Will Make An ImpactPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepares and maintains underwriting manuals.
- Prepares financial settlements.
- Coordinates internal reporting related to settlements.
- Prepares ASO agreements, Stop Loss contracts and Financial Arrangement contract language.
- Designs and delivers computerized reports of statistical and demographic data.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities And Experiences
- CPCU, CLU, LOMA, HIAA or other insurance related courses preferred.
- Broad knowledge of benefits, contracts, and data sources preferred.
