THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our Client, with a rich history of over 100 years in the global food trade, is seeking a dynamic and resourceful Sales and Marketing Specialist (bilingual in English and Spanish required) to support the VP of Retail Sales, in addition to working with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating professionalism, efficiency, and confidentiality.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work with the Purchasing department to ensure forecast and warehouse levels will meet customer demands.
• Create and organize sales presentations for sales vs. budget to the brokers.
• Coordinate marketing material needs for the brokers and food shows.
• Manage social media (i.e., Facebook, etc.) and assist in the development of programs on the website.
• Maintain retailer and distributor promotional calendars, follow up on the position of the inventory, and reconciliation claims for VP approval.
• Follow up with brokers on completion of necessary retail programs and support the team for merchandising.
• Work closely with multiple departments (Accounting, Finance, Operations, Sales) to ensure Otis McAllister customers are being represented within the organization.
• Take customer calls, forward information to customers when needed (product specs, product info), forward sales inquiries, answer, and direct complaints.
• Provide dedicated support to the VP of Retail Sales.
• Create, maintain, and analyze the weekly forecast in Excel of our inventory position for replenishment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numerical proficiency and adept at using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced expertise in Excel, including experience with dashboards and pivot tables.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and oral.
• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in the food industry is highly preferred
