Description

Elevation Autism Center is growing our team to serve the need for comprehensive early childhood ABA services. Our mission is to help children lead more fulfilling lives, and we’re committed to delivering exceptional early intervention services for young families in our community.

As Clinical Director, you will:

  • Oversee the continued growth and development of an exceptional team of BCBAs.
  • Train staff in the delivery of individualized treatment programs for early learners.
  • Integrate the principles of trauma-assumed care and Skills Based Treatment.
  • Earn crisis management certification under the Marcus Crisis Prevention Program (MCPP).
  • Foster an environment of safety, security and HRE in clinical services.
  • Integrate the latest research of ABA programs for young children.
  • Advocate for the importance of early intervention and research-based practices.
  • Support relevant metrics to maintain a healthy business and responsible growth.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Proactively deliver effective staff supervision, mentorship, skills training, and accountability.
  • Train supervisors in comprehensive program development for early learners and evidenced-based supervision practices.

Elevation Autism Center is an independently-owned provider of early intervention ABA services to the Atlanta community. Our company is focused on serving the unique needs of children from 1- 5 years old with comprehensive programming delivered in a fun and engaging environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3 years of experience as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a clinical setting.
  • Expertise in the development, implementation and oversight of comprehensive programming for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Confidence and enthusiasm in promoting the principles of ABA to caregivers and staff.
  • A passion for developing communication skills in early learners between 1-3 years old.
  • Understanding and experience with implementing strategies for maladaptive behavior.
  • Full understanding of Verbal Behavior, Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and Discrete Trail Teaching (DTT).
  • Understanding and experience with the key elements of running an effective center-based program (evidenced-based supervision practices, staff/caregiver training, effective management of staff, etc.).
  • Ability to provide direct client and caregiver services in a 1:1 setting as needed while utilizing effective ABA strategies.
  • Full understanding of medical necessity criteria for services and the ability to accurately fulfill differing funding source requirements within treatment protocols.
  • Confidence and enthusiasm in promoting the effectiveness of ABA to caregivers, staff, community members and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop quick rapport and trusting relationships with caregivers and staff, as well as the commitment to developing and fostering parent relations, community outreach and client referral flow.
  • Knowledge of typical childhood development across language, learning and social domains.
  • Personal initiative in identifying potential challenges and the ability to collaborate with the executive team to developing creative solutions.
  • A humble, collaborative and solution-based approach to problem-solving.
  • Love of lifelong learning, proactive approach to integrating evidence-based techniques, and a burning desire to provide the best possible treatment available.
  • Willingness to explore and stay up to date on the most progressive and effective methods of ABA.
  • Demonstrated confidence and personal humility.
