Continually assess LOA performance and provide coaching/individual training as needed
Conduct monthly one on one performance and goal review meetings with each LOA
Act as primary resource for questions about system issues, TRID compliance, Fannie/Freddie guidelines, running LP/DU, etc.
Ensure coverage for LOA taking PTO serving as back up LOA as needed
Convene monthly meetings to discuss best practices, announce upcoming changes, and address challenges
Act as liaison between LOAs and other members of the mortgage department (loan officers, processors, underwriters, etc.)
Present frequent group trainings to maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and guideline requirements
Act as an advocate for the LOA team
Develop and communicate process improvements
Perform administrative tasks:
Review and approve timesheets and PTO requests
Monitor daily reports to ensure compliance with TRID deadline requirements and fulfillment of Mortgage Department service-level agreements
Provide input on employee performance reviews through monthly one on ones and provide input when required for disciplinary action
Commute as needed to onsite locations currently includes Broomfield, Boulder, Denver DTC, Longmont and Fort Collins Elevations Credit Union
Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union
Maintaining and supporting Elevations strong values/culture
Lead by example to an extremely high producing team * 6 years mortgage experience with expertise in lending compliance, guidelines and processes
* 2 years of formal or informal coaching and leadership experience in mortgage including evaluation, training, mentoring, motivation
* Effective written and verbal communication
* Experience seeking out opportunities for improvement (OFIs) and determining/communicating appropriate process changes
* Proven tenacity to do whatever is needed to research and/or resolve questions, issues and conflicts
