And our client is seeking a an IT Risk Governance Analyst to join their team!

This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and reporting on information technology risks in a manner that meets regulatory and other compliance rules. The role involves working closely with various departments to ensure that IT systems and policies provide effective risk management and security of data and IT assets.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular IT risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities that could affect the company's information security and overall IT infrastructure.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive IT risk management policies and procedures.
• Monitor IT systems for compliance with established policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and business unit managers to ensure that risk management strategies are understood and implemented across the organization.
• Develop and deliver training programs aimed at enhancing the understanding of IT risks throughout the organization.
• Participate in the planning and testing of disaster recovery procedures and business continuity plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in IT risk management, governance, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills:

• Proficiency in risk assessment tools and methodologies.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
