Elgen Staffing is Hiring a Field service technician Near Phoenix, AZ
Our client, a premier distributor of hydraulic and industrial hose products, is currently looking for a Field Service Technician, to fill an immediate opening in Phoenix.
Our candidate of choice will provide on-site support in replacement of hydraulic hose assemblies. In this role, you will be required to travel nationwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : 24 / 7 availabilityMost projects include weekends and 12-hour shiftsBuild hydraulic hose assemblies on-site, at customer locationRemoval and installation of hose assemblies as neededPerform correct hose routing per OEM specificationsPerform machine inspectionsProvide information for quotations on large projectsTimely reporting of data for invoicing in a legible mannerProperly maintain and protect company-owned equipment at all timesAvailable to travel for extended periods.
Typically 2-3 weeks but can be up to 2-3 months on special projects.KEY REQUIREMENTS : Sound, independent judgment, as need arisesProfessional customer relations and communication skillsPassion for excellenceGood soft skills for customer interaction and building relationshipsAbility to work under pressureValid driver’s license with clean record including no DUIMechanical aptitudeMechanical experience (two or more years a plus)Time managementAbility to work independently and self-motivatedAttention to detailTroubleshootingAbility to maneuver in confined spacesFlexibility and ability to think on one’s feetOperate hand and power tools.
