Description

Eliada Homes, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager whose employment will directly impact the lives and needs of our residential clients, their families, and our community. Eliada Homes, a flagship organization, is neatly nestled in the heart of West Asheville on 320 breathtaking acres. Our unique campus provides our youth, and the Asheville community, with equine therapy, campus farm programs, foster care services, child development services, day treatment services, and housing services. Our staff are mission centered in Helping Children Succeed. Under the direction of the Director of Residential Services, the Program Manager provides overall management and supervision to their assigned cottage units to include the youth and the staff. The position is a daytime position but does have some on call responsibilities.

Salary: $35,360 – $42,500

Requirements

  • Provides programmatic oversight and leadership of the model of care and delivery of services in the cottage. Works collaboratively with the Clinician to ensure that clinically appropriate services are delivered to eligible students within the cottage.
  • Works collaboratively with treatment team, participating in MDT, contributing to CFT meetings, and providing updates to guardians on a regular basis and as needed. Leading weekly treatment team meetings alongside Program Clinician.
  • Supervises direct care residential staff in the delivery of services, implementation of model of care, crisis management, implementation of teaching and individualized clinical/crisis management plans for each student, and implementation of the therapeutic environment/activities. Includes formal and informal staff supervision, staff/cottage observation and feedback, and student specific meetings.
  • Participates in the training, professional development, evaluation, discipline and discharge of residential staff assigned to their unit(s). Includes the management of staffing schedules, overtime and leave time within agency standards.
  • Ensures all required agency, mental health and program documentation is completed and maintained within agency, licensure, accreditation, and other standards in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Ensures the management and maintenance of the cottage facility within agency standards to include facility work orders to provide a healthy, safe and therapeutic environment for students. Manage the business requirements of the assigned residential unit(s) to include budgets, and agency reports.
  • Promote student success by developing positive therapeutic relationships with students and work to understand students emotional and physical needs. Recognize student strengths and help connect students’ feelings to their behaviors to promote self-awareness and help guide students to making lasting change. Engage students in formal processing methods under the agency crisis intervention model to help understand how students can be better served.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Previous supervisory experience required. QP status required.

Two years experience working with the student populations in a residential setting using a behavioral model is preferred.
