Pay Rate: $75.00 - $85.00/hr on W2

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to support the Next Gen Point of Sale (NGPOS) efforts. This role is pivotal in unlocking the potential to create a new, modern checkout experience for associates and customers. The Program Manager will work closely with technology resources, stakeholders, and 3rd party contract resources to successfully implement the multi-year NGPOS business case.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with team leads, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, 3rd party vendors, and engineers within the program team and dependent program teams.
• Drive a sense of urgency and action within the team.
• Track and report on key metrics.
• Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
• Manage complex cross-team dependencies and rationalize them within the overall timeline.
• Escalate issues to the PMO, drive against program milestones, and track progress against dates and milestones.
• Partner with engineering and product managers, report back through the PMO, and collaborate with the portfolio team to manage the program budget.

Qualifications :

• Demonstrable Program Management experience in successfully delivering programs in a predominantly Agile environment and using an iterative waterfall methodology.
• Experience in delivering rollouts of hardware deployments to sites across the US.
• PMP certification or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of delivering objectives on time and within budget.
• Ability to anticipate and manage project/program risks.
• Confident, solution-oriented independent worker.
• Dynamic presenter and facilitator skills.
• Strong engagement management skills, strong business acumen, and deep technical insights with the ability to speak in both business and technical terms.
• Experience managing external customers and understanding deployment lifecycles is a plus.
• Expertise in applying systems development and project management life-cycle processes involved with implementing IT solutions.
• Proven problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability in team motivation and delegation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to customers and all levels within the organization
