Our government client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team.

Pay Rate: $55.00 - $75.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer: - Create tests that identify issues with product software and infrastructure in advance of product launch
- Support testing activities across the entire software development lifecycle
- Ensure consistent project execution
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
- Lead efforts to automate testing activities and to integrate test automations into the CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes
- Oversee continuous improvement projects
- Prepare and present quality assurance and testing reports, presentations, and information
- Adhere to deadlines and communicate status and progress
Requirements of the Quality Assurance Engineer: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 4 years of experience working in a quality assurance or testing role supporting enterprise computing platforms and system development efforts
- At least 2 years of experience providing quality assurance and testing support for workloads that deploy on AWS
- Must be an experienced Agile practitioner with proven ability to plan and implement software products with agility
- Experience planning and tracking tests, test results, and defects in Jira
- Experience and proficiency developing and implementing quality assurance and testing programs
- Proven ability to test software products and cloud infrastructure configurations and identifying deficiencies
- Ability to expertly perform manual & automated testing, documentation, and recreation and validation of issues or defects
- Ability to proficiently perform application testing using Selenium and the Apache JMeter load testing tool
- Ability to proficiently and predictably plan, automate, and execute testing strategies for AWS cloud infrastructure services and application workloads
- Ability to test and validate workload conformance with the AWS Well Architected Framework design principals
- Understanding of the Agile and Scaled Agile practices and principles experience
