Our financial services client is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to join their team.

Pay Rate: $68.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Requirements of the Senior Oracle Database Engineer:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
• At least 8 years of experience in Oracle database development and design
• At least 3 years of experience working in a Unix/Linux environment including basic shell scripting
• Experience building both OLTP and Warehousing applications in Oracle
• Experience with the financial domain
• Advanced skills in data analysis, design, integration, and development
• Skilled in Performance tuning
• Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL
• Proficient in using roles and privileges to restrict access to DB objects
• Good knowledge of Oracle commands such as SQL PLUS and SQL Loader
• Basic database administration knowledge
• Ability to Trouble Shoot queries/stored procedures/triggers
